بالانجليزية نحن نعتذر بطرق مختلفة في المواقف المختلفة ، ففي المواقف البسيطة ( عندما تقاطع أحدهم ) يكون الاعتذار بسيط ، وعندما يكون الموقف أقوى ( عندما تدوس على قدم أحدهم ) يكون الاعتذار أقوى ، وفي حالات معينة يكون لها اعتذار خاص كما في حالات التأخر عن موعد ما .. ومن الملاحظ أنه في حالة الاعتذارات الرسمية وخاصة الاعتذارات المكتوبة نحن لا نستخدم كلمة (sorry) بل نستخدم كلمة (apology) كما هو موضح بالأمثلة أعلاه.If the situation is important, we usually add an explanation or excuse after the apology. I'm sorry about the mess in here. I'll clean it up. [make it neat and clean].
